MEET AMANDA
Amanda Kiener is an Atlanta-based audition coach, industry consultant, and actress, known for her commitment to creating accessible and inclusive spaces for neurodiverse creatives. Founder of OnScreen Atlanta in 2024, Amanda specializes in translating modern and classical acting techniques to serve the individual, rather than asking the individual to fit a predetermined curriculum. She believes every actor brings a unique frame of reference, learning style, and creative system, and she fosters an environment where each actor can explore their personal process, amplify their voice, and expand their toolkit to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
Having grown up as a child actor with neurodivergence, Amanda has dedicated years to understanding the unique needs of neurodiverse performers. Her own experiences have deeply informed her passion for coaching, providing tailored guidance that recognizes the strengths and challenges specific to each individual. This commitment to inclusive coaching has allowed her to build an environment where actors can thrive, develop confidence, and enhance their craft without compromising who they are.
Amanda’s background includes serving as senior staff at Book from Tape Acting Studios, where she worked as a coach, industry consultant, and in-house editor until the studio’s closure in spring 2024. She also worked as a teaching assistant at the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts (Ruth Eckerd Hall) and currently teaches acting fundamentals at Actorsite, a Los Angeles-based studio.
In addition to her teaching expertise, Amanda draws on her technical theatre experience, having earned a Theatre Diploma from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts (2010). Through OnScreen, she partners with local storytellers and professionals, assisting in the development of multi-hyphenates from pre-production through post. Her strength lies in meeting working actors where they are in their personal journey, providing tools and support for neurodiverse talent, and safeguarding young actors and their families.
Amanda is proudly represented by Brevard Talent Group.
Aligned Action
"It’s our belief the curriculum should serve the individual, aligned with your learning style and the skills needed in our industry. Not to advance in a tier system or act for approval of an instructor, fit into a box etc.
The goal?
To inspire agency in each actor. Provide techniques that help you do honest work that excites you and is sustainable - a process you take with you on your adventures.
Neurodivergence exists on a spectrum, each actor is unique. Some sessions we unpack social cues, interpret emotions through the lens of colors or “as if” we are familiar characters. Some sessions, we find a way to work dyslexia into the inner dialogue of a role and use pacing as a tool. Each session is unique, just as you are. It’s a privilege to study and bring these techniques to you!

I can’t teach you to “book”. No one can. That idea is a disservice to the collaboration in our industry.
I can provide you tools to put up an audition that showcases you.
I can extend industry resources and refer you out.
I can assist you in your industry materials to meet current industry standards. Essence forward, and truthful work that excites you!
We can prepare you to show up in business and artistically with a voice.
If I don’t know the answer, I know someone who does.
